Instructions / Directions:
-
Wrap tape around damaged area by stretching and overlapping 50% of
tape already applied so that ½ the width is covered with the
next wrap around. Stretch tape to maximum capacity for High
pressure leaks to ensure stronger and tighter bond.
-
Emergency Tapes first and last wrap should completely overlap its
previous wrap to ensure a complete and sealed bond. It is highly
recommended to use additional layers of tape if necessary over
affected areas. The same directions in line (1) should be used over
the previous layers. Emergency tape is not reusable.
-
Emergency Tape is not recommended to be repositioned after initial
wrapping. Tape can be reapplied over existing tape at anytime for
further strength.
Suggestive Applications:
It is recommended that additional tape is used for high pressure
leaks. Tape should be wrapped between 3-5 layers thick. It is also
recommended that the application of Emergency tape be started 3-5
inches from the damaged area for best results. Additional tape can
always be applied over existing tape for further strength.
